Agent Assistant - Artist Group International

Full Time Job
Artist Group International is seeking an Agent Assistant in New York City.

Candidates for this position must be passionate, motivated, forward thinking and committed.

This position requires someone with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and to take initiative. You will be part of our administrative hub with a central focus on keeping projects, as well as the team, organized and on track. You will work with our agents as well as our extended network of management companies, concert and festival promoters, labels, digital agencies and publicists.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Acting as a liaison between the agency, its clients and the extended live music business.
- Review and oversee tour marketing plans.
- Prepare contracts for artist performances.
- Prepare calendars and itineraries.
- Prepare ticket counts and tour reports for Agents and Artist management.
- Prepare weekly Artist statements to reflect tour settlement and commissions due to Agency.
- Track show deposits with the promoters and track collections of commissions due from business managers.
- Communicate with tour managers for show settlements and guest list communications.
- Day-to-day admin (booking travel, expenses, answering phones).
- Assist with special projects, research, and compiling information as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

- College degree.
- Previous Music Agency or Live Music experience is an asset.
- Experience or training in marketing is an asset.
- Computer savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Technical understanding of social media platforms and project management programs.
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
- Must have an avid interest in music and an overall interest in learning about the music industry.
- Respectful, professional office demeanor.
- Fan of rock, punk or metal genres is a plus!

Due to the pandemic, we are currently working remotely. The candidate must live in the NYC area and be ready to report to the office upon reopening. No exceptions. We require vaccination documentation.
